Lasso is an All-In-One Affiliate Marketing plugin for WordPress. We help online business owners

What You Will Be Doing:
Here is a list describing the tasks involved in this position (do you happen to like making lists? So do we!):
- Contribute to continuously improving Lasso through new features and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional development team to get code improvements built, tested, demoed, and ready to ship
- Seek opportunities to make our plugin products run faster, be easier to maintain, and be more reliable, robust, and scalable
- Contribute to our code libraries, code reviews, process improvements, and technical decisions.
What You Need To Excel:
Be Yourself.
The Lasso team is diverse and composed of people from all over the world. Respect, collaboration, and inclusivity are some of our core values.
Solid PHP and Javascript expertise.
You will bring proven experience in building, improving, and maintaining our PHP and JS code. You develop using modern PHP and JS (for example, OOP, Composer, or PSR’s) but also know when to use procedural.
Know WordPress.
Our products are built on top of and used within WordPress. We use a superset of WordPress coding standards.
Passion and humbleness.
You are a skilled, passionate, and humble developer who is friendly, collaborative, and supportive. Solving problems and building solutions that help people are the values that make your work special and rewarding.
Consider how your work impacts others.
Your code is a pleasure to use, read, and understand. When working in the codebase, you leave things better than when you found them. You value personal growth and constructive feedback. People feel good around you because you love sharing what you know while continuously improving yourself, remaining thoughtful and flexible in your approach.
We care about the work you do, not about the hours you sit at your desk.
You can organize your working day with flexible working hours. There are no time cards to stamp, just customers to make happy and friendly teammates to work with!
Proficient knowledge of English.
Empathetic and collaborative communication is key: you are comfortable writing, speaking, and listening in English with technical and non-technical teammates.
